April Scavenger Hunt and what I wore post!

 This month I didn't do too great with the scavenger hunt that Postcards from the PP posts!

Those were all I managed to get this month - and I started so well at the start .. and then kind of petered off! I'll try again now were in May ;D

 Now moving onto an outfit - I wore this to go out shopping last Sunday!

 I didn't like it so much when on as when I had planned it - mainly because of the v neck top underneath the dress, it didn't really go with the dress's v neck! 

I tried the outfit again a couple of days later with a high necked black top and it was MUCH better - however I forgot to get a pic to show you!!!

I do however like the colours!

Busy, Buzzy, Bumble Bee!

I have started back at work now after having a year off on Maternity leave! 

So it's back to the smart(ish) outfits 2 days a week!! 

I paired this yellow bandeau top with both of my work outfits this week - the photo's don't do it justice its more lemony than these show!

Then like I say, I wore it again on Thursday teamed with a black dress and leggings .. not sure whats going on with my hair in these pics - my only explanation is that it has rained ALL week!!!

Spring Fling!

Wore this outfit to go furniture shopping last weekend! 

Was quite a nice sunny (albeit a bit chilly) day!

Since then though we've had rain everyday :(

Christening :D

It was our little girls Christening on Sunday and I picked up this little number to wear from Debenhams - just incidentally Lissy's dress actually cost more than mine!!!!

We had such a lovely day spent with family and friends - and she was SUCH a good girl!

On the Saturday before we had some friends visit for a short while and we went to collect the cupcakes for the christening!

Steptacular!

Last night a friend and myself went to see STEPS!!!



For those who don't know, Steps are an English pop band from the 90's who recently reformed and have been doing arena tours again!

When we heard we simply had to go ;P

Vacances de Pâques

Happy Easter everyone!

Hope that everyone has had a nice time?

We went away for a few days to the seaside - was such a lovely time :D
This is what I wore on the Sunday (Easter Day) we went for a meal and then round a themepark/market!

On the Saturday we went around the shops in town and for a pub lunch and then took Lissy to the beach for the first time :D Was a bit windy but glorious sunshine :D

Today we packed up and came home - visiting Lincoln on the way!
It was a very windy, rainy day today though!

Can't think of a title - yet again!!

It was a lovely sunny day on Sunday - we visited a few DIY shops and a Garden Centre ...
