Viva La France!

So here we are once again in France .. visiting our relations, it was our daughters first trip abroad so this year was made even more special!

We had a great time .. and visited some beautiful places!

This mountain is known as Napoleons Nose as it looks like his face .. Can you see it?

Bonjour, Bonjour, Salut !

This is the second part of our holiday - travelled back to France to the sister in Law's Chateau

The first day I just stayed in and relaxed whilst everyone else went on a walk in the mountains I was still feeling a bit dizzy from my exploits in Spain (see first post) and so I just sat in the garden etc and then later on played with the boys on the trampoline etc - always a good cure - cuddles from nephews :D

I saw this new way of putting what I wore onto my photos from a new blog I stumbled upon called Kendi Everyday.

I probably won't do it on all my posts but thought it was fun to mix things up every once in a while :)

The second day we went to Luchon.

We took the children on some fairground rides and to the park and then went for Chocolaut au chauds YUM!

The third day we decided to go to Lac De Genos (See link below) for a picnic .. after this we went to a castle and then called at a little village for Crepes and Hot chocolates.

This is what I wore on the last day -the day we flew home (Good job we flew the day we did as all flights have been grounded now due to the volcanic ash!!)


A couple of pictures of Lac De Genos where we took the 3 nephews for a picnic - it was a little cooler and so we needed to wrap up a little - but how serene does it look??

France Part 2 ....

Me and the hubster up a mountain in the Pyrenees!

This is the outfit I wore on Sunday, we had a lazy morning of playing with the boys and then a fabulous lunch .. before heading to the ski slopes - now I cannot for the life of me ski .. so we went sledging with the 5 and 2 yr old - we had SUCH a fun time (I don't know who enjoyed it more hehe) We then built an igloo and a table out of snow and had a mini picnic up the mountain - Le Mourtiss.

After that we played some more before the children's bedtime then had yet another amazing meal cooked by Heather (Sis in Law) I'll not be fitting in my clothes at this rate ;p

Below is what I wore on the last day :( To travel home in, we got up early again and said our goodbyes, we had to say bye to the boys the night before as we left around 6.30amish

France - Part 1

So this is the reason I have been MIA for a while - I went to France for a few day's to see my nephews, it was the oldest one's 5th b'day and we hadn't seen the third baby yet (Now 3 mths old)

We had an amazing time - My sister in law owns a Chateau that they run as a bed and breakfast - it is the most beautiful house - as you will see from some of my blog pics (I tried to find all diff places to take them :) )

The first day we got there Oldest child was at school, so we went out for a walk with middle child and baby :)

I don't have an outfit post from that day as I wore the exact same thing I travelled to Stoke in the other day!

This is what I wore to the birthday boys party the next day!

This is the view from the balcony in our bedrooms, nearly all the rooms have a balcony and look out onto different mountains in the Pyrenees!!
