Hey country girl ...

HEY!!!

So I'm back to blogging (for now anyways) - if you have been reading my blog for a while you will know Ive had gallstones - well my gallbladder pain got worse over several months and I wound up having to have two operations, one to remove my gallbladder and the multiple stones inside but also an operation to capture a stray gallstone which was trapped in a bile duct near my pancreas and making me very poorly and jaundice!

So that's where I've been really - recovering - I've had a fair few outfit posts to put on the blog though so they will be appearing (hopefully) over the next few days/weeks ...

I wore this outfit to a hospital visit to see my consultant - well one of the team of surgeons (who didnt wind up doing my operation anyway) the other month - my surgery was postponed for a few different reasons.

It reminds me of a country style outfit, i can imagine going for walks in the fields wearing it :) 

I am a country girl at heart ... i grew up in a small countryside village - how about you do you prefer the country or the city or maybe the coast??

The heart of the matter ...

So I said in my last blog post that I would tell you all my strange news!

The other day I had a bit of a weird turn, where I blacked out for a while, I've had these before but usually get my vision back pretty quickly .. so I rang NHS Direct as I wasn't feeling right about it and had been dizzy for several days/weeks.

Long story short, ended up at the doctors and he did several tests on me, however when he listened to my heart he made a strange face .. and said he wanted to listen to all 4 valves!

He then explained that he thinks there is a funny sound on my aortic valve and that I have to get it checked out with cardiology :S

So now I am awaiting my cardiology appointment - I have been having palpitations for a while, but just thought it was to do with my fibromyalgia!!

He also mentioned that he thinks this problem could of been caused by my fibro meds, so I've come off one lot immediately and have to reduce the others - I'm just hoping this doesn't make my fibro 10 times worse as well :'(

Anyway, moving on this is what I wore the other day to get some shopping!

Were having a bit of a heatwave here at the moment - Hope it lasts a lot longer yet ....

I recently read this "Spoons theory" it actually makes a lot of sense for people suffering daily with debilitating illnesses, gives people a little more understanding.

Getting out the Vera's!

Haven't been feeling great recently - having a bit of a fibro flare up .. and have been getting headaches and migraines again .. so thought i better wear my glasses ...

I have two pairs, these are my Vera Wangs :D They have beautiful sparkly bits on the frames :D

Took one of my pairs of knee high boots to be re-heeled last Saturday!

Since then I haven't any outfits to show you sadly as most days Ive been in pj's and dressing gowns as Ive not been well again!

I'm a bad blogger - I know, I know!

I haven't been around much again this week - I am sorry! I'm having a few health issues again at the moment - plus since I've been working every day (still part time) but not two days a week like before - I'm struggling a bit with tiredness etc....

I am off work this next week so will try and update my blog with pictures - starting (hopefully) from tomorrow!

Ghostface and September round up!

No this isn't going to be another Scream related post, the title refers to the fact that I look so pale in these photo's!

They were taken on Wednesday before work, I had Gastro over the weekend and 2 days off sick on Monday and Tues :(

I look like a ghost!!

What I wore:

This is what I wore today, as you can see my colour has started seeping back into my face again now!!

Loads of staff and children are off work sick this week though .. I hope I don't get it back again! It was NOT pleasant!

After work I went shopping :D

I needed a new waterproof coat for work, for when I'm opening the gate and in on playground duty - I also needed it to have a hood, as trying to undo a padlock and hold an umbrella is just not practical.

My new coat - I picked it up on sale for £23 :D Very pleased with that as there were some in the hundreds!!

Not the most glamorous - but it'll serve a purpose!!

Also got:

A new hat :D

A purse.

Hair clips.

A friends b'day present.

I love the details on the hat, the crown is also a brooch which can be taken off - woohoo new accessories for free :D

That's what I like!
