Grey Days!

So this week the weather has turned, Grey skies all around :'(

It wasn't intentional but my outfits all seem to have some Grey in them . maybe I'm mirroring the sky!

What I wore:
Top: Primark.
Shrug: George @ Asda.
Trousers: New Look.
Shoes: Gifted.
Necklace: Gifted.

On Wednesday I went to the hairdressers, we had an almighty storm on the way, I could see the black clouds getting closer and then the hail the size of 1p coins came down on my windscreen, I'm not moaning though really as I quite enjoy a good ol storm sometimes :)

Got to wear my new shoes, hope they didn't get too soggy :'(

Thursday was a plain back to work outfit, nothing special to report .. although I do like this put together look.

Maybe if I make like Annie - The sun will come out 2morro! :D

Socceraid and Manchester Wkend!

This weekend I travelled to to Manchester with 6 friends of mine to go to see Socceraid - a celebrity and ex pro football game for UNICEF, Read more about it HERE
This is what I wore to go up on the train .. when we got there we went for lunch by the locks and sat in the glorious sunshine!

That night we all got changed and went for a meal before going for cocktails in town :D

The next day was actual game day - we went into town to do a spot of shopping - I had another weird turn and thought I was going to faint - so didn't go in any shops .. then we went for coffee so I could sit down .. No outfit shots from that day!

Went back to the hotel and changed to go to Old Trafford!

We were on the front row behind the goal - it was such an AMAZING night - the atmosphere was electric, even though England sadly lost on penalty's to the rest of the world team :(

B'days and shoes, shoes and more shoes!

Was my Brother in Law's b'day on Tuesday - so we headed over to the in-laws for a b'day meal, was a lovely meal and great to catch up with everyone!

This is what I wore to go to the Hospital on Weds for my follow up from my operation I had in January, I didn't realise whilst out just how hot it was going to get ... I called in at our local Matalan on the way back from the hosp and bought, 3 new pairs of shoes and 2 dresses :D I don't know how it happened officer I swear ;P

It was soooooo hot though, I had to call in at home and get changed before heading to the supermarket, plus I didn't really "feel" this outfit once on! - I then spent the rest of the arvo in the garden :D

Flip Flops: Matalan.
Jewellery: Same as above.

The 3, yes 3 pairs of shoes that somehow jumped into my shopping basket .....

It was a Bank Holiday here in the UK on Monday,m so it meant Gra was off work, although I was still feeling rough from having my sinus head the day before, we went over to my mum and dads.

My shoulder was playing up so Dad lent me his TEN's machine YEY for Dad's :D .

I wasn't sure about wearing my green glitter eyeliner at first, should an approaching 30 year old wear such things? But hubby said he really liked it and I liked the effect it had on my eyes and so it stayed :D.

It's funny how different people find different things appropriate, what there tastes are, what they will wear... and what society deems appropriate in general.

I was watching "How do I look?" on the Style Network just yesterday .. and sometimes I find myself quite liking some of the BEFORE items .... and on that scary thought on to the poll for May ;P

So here we are again - I can't believe we are already in June - It's quite frightening how fast the year is going by!

Last Time's Winner!

Saturday Night in the City...

So this weekend the Hubster and I travelled North to Leeds to visit some friends of ours for the long weekend.

We went out to dinner and then for drinks and onto a rock club on the Saturday night!

I even painted my nails for the occasion lol

On the Sunday we all walked to a local pub near our friends house for Sunday Lunch and to watch the England v Japan pre world cup, warm up match.

Then sadly it was time to come home ..and I had a snooze as I had a major sinus headache (boohoo :( )
