Saturday night and April roundup!

So it's that time again - ready for a roundup??

Yesterday I had one of my best friends and her boyfriend come over for tea .. we had such a fun time .. it was great to catch up!

Went casual .. but also wanted something that was a little warmer as it's quite cold over here in the UK at the moment :'( Booo where has the sun gone .. was that our summer - a few poxy days??

Not sure what has happened to the pics above - was trying out different settings on my camera - will have to stick to normal next time :D

Sporadic'S'ally

I feel like I have been neglecting my little blogger pals - Since my seizure I have been trying to spend less time at the computer - so I don't get migraine and tired eyes! So by the time I have checked my email, facebook and twitter, Uploaded and edited my pics and written my blog .. I only have time for sporadic visits to my favorite blogs! :(

I feel like I am missing out on your beautiful outfits and wonderful writings ... If I do get chance to see them I don't always have time to comment - so I just want you to know I am still out here and looking - if only for a fleeting second! Hopefully I will be able to return fully to the blogging community soon!!

Wore this outfit to work yesterday - added jacket as it has dropped a little cooler than the past few days - nooo return to me sunshine -- return!!

What happens when I get bored ....

The show must go on!

Back to work today, wasn't especially looking forward to it, as still feeling shaky, head achy, But it actually went ok, am in a different class covering on a Tuesday now, so wasn't sure what it was going to be like, as I don't know the routine or all of the children (some of them I used to have last year though) But it all went well :D

Found out that next year I will be in a different class altogether - everyone is having a move around (not everyone is happy with it to say the least!!!) I'm ok with my move - I shall be in the nursery classroom - and seeing as I spent 4 years as a nursery supervisor it won't be that much of a change!

We went to a wedding on Saturday: It also coincided with mine and Gra's 6th anniversary!! Wore the dress I thrifted for the last wedding we went to (seen here) Seeing as I didn't get much wear out of it last time!!

What I wore:

Dress: Thrifted.

Shoes: Else Shoes.

Corsage: Peacocks.

Headband: Asda.

Seeing as it was our 6th anniversary I thought I'd share with you a picture or two of some of our first dates!! :D

And one from our honeymoon :) I know I just had my hair cut the other day - But looking at this I want my long hair back :'(

Lastly I would just like to take this opportunity to say that I hope Bret Michael's recovers soon, as a huge poison fan, and having loved watching him on Rock of Love - my prayers and thoughts are with him and his family at this time!!

Today has been an all over the place kind of day ... I am still relying on lifts everywhere - which is kind of frustrating .. so had arranged with my father in law to take me to the hairdressers and my dad to pick me up .. however best laid plains and all that ...

My stylist rang me the other day to say there water had been turned off by there neighbours who had gone away and were currently stuck in Shanghai!! So the Salon had no water .. it would be best if she could do my hair at my house .. Okay I said, no problem, so we left it at that - I cancelled my lifts and all was dandy.

Today arrives and I wait for L my hairdresser to arrive .. 2pm comes and goes with no sign of her ... 3pm approaches still no sign .. then I get a phone call .. her sat nav couldn't pick up my postcode or house so she had been driving around lost for an hour and had, had to return to the salon.

Cut a long story short - after several phone calls to different stylists from the same salon (none of whom could get to me) I had to call my dad to come get me to give me a lift!

L managed to dry cut my hair and then applied my colour .. I then had to walk through town back to the car park with my hair dye on and a plastic hair hat -I do in fact have evidence of this but I cant find my cable for my phone :'( .... Maybe for the best ;P

Me with the new do .. I know, I know, it doesn't look all that different - But I know it's a lot shorter and better coloured ;)
