Mushroom cakes and shiny trifle balls

It would of been my Nanna's 93rd birthday on Friday .. she died 3 years ago just a couple of weeks before the big 9-0!

When she was alive we used to have a b'day party for her every year - and she still used to do all the baking - she would make mushroom cakes and lemon curd tarts .. and always a trifle with shiny edible silver balls on top - so this post is dedicated to her!!

I wore this outfit to go run some errands, and go shopping may of picked up some bargains ;)

I went to the churchyard after that to visit my Nanna's plaque and take a pot of Gerberas!

Gra looks very dashing :)

Sounds like Nanna was surrounded by a wonderful loving family. Nice to remember our loved ones, and she left good memories behind with you.

I love your pattern with pattern skirt outfit. Such pretty tiny flowers on your scarf. Do you have any spring flowers showing up yet?

Looks like you're enjoying your weekend :) hugs
Sherry
