Bp challenge again ...

1st BP challenge + Rules ...

 So I did another BP (Book/Picture) challenge (see link for rules and other challenges) Its been a long time since Ive done one ... for those who don't know simply its find a picture and try to make an outfit that is similar to the colours/themes of the picture using random words, numbers and flickr pictures.

The word was: Hide

The number was: 7 

And that was the picture that flickr gave me ... How do you think I did?

 

 Wore this outfit to go out for the day with my Mama, we had a lunch date, did a bit of shopping and then later went for Afternoon Tea at a castle :D

What I Wore:

Skirt: Camariau

Boots: Gifted, Orig: Pavers.

Belt: Primark.

I think I picked up the blues quite well, and wore my brown wedges with it.

I wore this to go to my friends 30th b'day party BBQ, was a great night - lots of alcyhol consumed and a singsong around a fire :D Tired today though!!

So today's Book/Picture challenge consisted of the colours red, black and white - so I knew instantly what skirt I wanted to wear .. This outfit is a bit "safe" and more work than weekend!!

However wore it to go shopping today - picked up a new dress, Jumper and a fab new scarf!!! Really good bargains - was after some new jeans - they didn't make it today though - oh well excuse to go shopping again :D

Book/Picture Challenge!

So I was feeling like I wanted to mix up my wardrobe a bit and play around with my clothes and took inspiration from Kari
She has been doing a flickr picture challenge ... and I was going to take part in this too, only the pictures are on US time and don't come out early enough for me to get dressed :D so I decided to make up my own .. I wasn't sure what words to use .. so then my strange mind came up with the idea of opening a book/novel/mag to any page and stabbing my finger on a word ... any word .. putting it into flickr, randomly choosing a number before seeing the pics and seeing of I could make an outfit from the subject matter!

So here is my first go:

Picked out the pink of the lillies for my skirt, green and purple from the wallpaper, Browns of the desks, tannoys for my shoes and the grey from the vase.

Not bad I feel for a first attempt!

Wore this to go get my car MOT test done today and then babysitting - took the little girl on a loooooong walk in her pushchair - didn't realise how steep the hill was on the way back though - phewy no need for gym today!!!
