Birthday Girl ...

A couple of weeks back itwas my birthday - I shan't reveal my age i am a lady after all hahaha ....

Had a nice time in the day relaxing with my family then at night a friend and myself went to Leeds to see Ant and Dec Saturday night takeaway live show!

It was so funny :)

The weekend after my birthday some of my best friends came over for pizza and drinks ...

And then we went to a local pub for a few more drinkiews :)

Gallstones!!!!

Grrrr I have gallstones!!!!!

I'd been having pains in my right hand side that were getting worse and i was very sick .. so i went to my GP who sent me for an ultrasound which has shown that I have multiple gallstone's in my gallbladder and some that are loose in my intestine's! 

I now have to decide if I want surgery to have my gallbladder removed or not - I'm going to speak to the surgeons next month!! I have a lot of things to consider - and will always put my daughters well being first in every decision i make - with my Fibromyalgia i take longer to recover than "healthier" people so I really have to think about this one ... I've been told that it can be managed with medication and diet and that even if i have my gallbladder removed i may still have to have a special diet and may still experience pain - so will i gain anything by having an operation???

So I haven't really been getting dressed or taking blog pictures for the last couple of weeks and have been mostly in hoodies and pj pants or if we have gone out, say to the supermarket, just casual clothing so I've not taken any pics .. these pictures are ones I had stored from a few weeks back!!

The one with the Dr Who speech ...

These are my two different outfits from New Years Eve 2013 ... I wore one to travel to my friends house, have a meal and play some drinking games (with champagne i might add LOL) with there friends and family and then we got changed to go bring the new year in at a local pub ...

I didn't remember to get a full picture of my 2nd outfit - so If my friend has any pictures of me where you can see it properly I'll have to add them at a later date possibly.

I didn't choose to wear the butterfly necklace on purpose, as I was looking for something to go with my sparkly silver dress, I looked through my jewellery and this stood out to me, nothing else had felt right up until that point.

What do butterfly necklaces mean I thought to myself and promptly googled it :)

They mean change or a metamorphosis - how fitting I thought to wear it on New Years Eve - when the year literally changes into a brand new one!!

Ive been thinking a bit about change recently, whilst watching the Dr Who Christmas special on Christmas Day, Matt Smiths Dr gave a little speech about change as he was regenerating into the "New" Dr ..... And it struck a chord ...

"Times change and so must I ... We all change when you think about it, we're all different people through our lives and thats okay, thats good as long as you remember all the people that you used to be"

Its true we do all change and grow as people over the years and yet remain the same person in other ways!

I'm not entirely the same person I was 10 years ago for instance, who can say that they are??

Although strangely enough the sparkly dress I am wearing is the dress I wore for my "Leavers ball" from school which was 15/16 years ago now - How funny??

Christmas ....

First off let me say that i hope you all had a lovely Christmas and that it was filled with love and much merriment?

This is the dress i wore on Christmas Day itself ...

 Ive realised that I have got to start wearing bulkier clothing or layering up for work - as it is sooo cold in our classroom!!!

Training Days ....

Had two training days last week at work - the first was in an old stately home - in beautiful surroundings.

And we had a silver service dinner as well - yum yum :)

The courses were quite interesting too and thought provoking ....

The second training session was on Green Screen Training - you know the kind of thing weather girls have behind them when doing the forcasts - was fun - the editing of the videos looks to be the hardest part ... but the children will hopefully enjoy the filming :)

I don't quite know why Spanish Gypsy's - just the flipping of my skirt felt quite Flamenco ;P And its a gypsy style dress!
