Right and so the catch up begins .. Since my birthday I have been on a road trip holiday, had my 1st wedding anniversary and been to a best friends wedding!!

Today I have done bu**er all (excuse the language :)) it's been a total relaxing day .. Oh no to tell you the truth I did water the garden and the plant pot's! ;P

Yesterday we went over to a friends house for a curry and to play poker - the curry was DELICIOUS - one of the best I have had in a long time, YUM YUM YUM!

Rainbow Cupcakes!

Have been absent from my blog for a couple of days as had a really bad migraine which left me in bed :'(

Yesterday it was still there a little, but nowhere near as bad so decided to get some fresh air and went to the supermarket as I had a few things to get and some cards to post etc.

I shouldn't be allowed in my local Tesco as I ALWAYS end up in the clothes department and this time spotted a bargain of a dress in the sale .. See below for a sneaky peek of it ....

I also bought some ingredients to make some rainbow cupcakes ... Marie from The Joy Of Fashion made some a while back, and i have been meaning to give it a go!

As well as plain cupcakes for my husband who is allergic to food colouring! And then iced them with red icing (again plain white for the hubster)

On a final note I was watching the local news bulletins earlier and there was a piece about a local tin factory that was selling a load of its vintage tins as it no longer had room for them all, I just love the old style biscuit tins and tobacco boxes:

Silhouttes

Had an early morning meeting today, I wanted to look nice, and the outfit I had chosen wasn't quite right so I pulled this out instead - I really like the silhouette that my new belt gives me - very 1950's wiggle dress style dontcha think?

Meeting went well ... and now I have the rest of the day to do household chores (And read blogs haha)

The shoes I'm wearing here I only wear around the house usually, they are vintage Roland Cartier slip on's that someone gave me! I just wear them as slipper type shoes!

Car Booty...

Wearing two of my new purchases today .. I absolutely love the fact this dress has pockets :D And I didn't know till I got it home ...

Today we got up early to go to a local car boot sale, but I wasn't feeling up to it .. so went back to bed for a little while....

Gra went out to do the food shopping .. and it was like fate, he found another car boot that started at 4.30 today - YEY so we could go visit my Grandad and still have plenty of time to go after...
