Contest no 1

So this is my entry into a contest set over at Fashion for nerds
It was based around planning an outfit to match the interior of that room so I picked out the olive from the picture, black from the floor, the white from the cupboard and the pink from the table .. also just spotted is a purple rug, so I added a purple scarf.

It was so much fun putting together an outfit like this - I hope to do more in the future!

What I wore today:
Skirt: George @ Asda.
Cami vest: New Look.
Cardigan: New Look.
Scarf worn as belt: Next.
Hair extensions: Balmian.



I also wore my hair extensions today to try them out for the wedding, now I've had my hair dyed the right colour to wear them, it was v exciting to see how I looked with long hair .. I liked it :)

And now a warning for those who don't like feet ... look away now ..

I want to show you my newly painted tootsies, 3 different nail varnishes were mixed to make this lovely blue colour - love it!!



Cluedo resumes 2morrow - really wanted to enter this contest :D Oh and also I found a style guide in a magazine that I'm going to try and make an outfit a day from after I finish cluedo - who knew blogging could be so fun :)

Rev Green (is annoyed)

Am gutted and annoyed .. was meant to be going out to a corporate do at the football tonight - and to see cup final - and it's been called off as they have a supposed waterlogged pitch - it hasn't rained that much here!
As I didn't have the most amount of time this morn I only took a couple of shots as I thought I would have this evening's outfit to add on later too, but now I don't!! I was going to wear this top with a pencil skirt and heels .. and some fab jewellery!! Now I don't have any reason to wear it .. and we might not even get re-arranged - so there goes the nice free meal and drinks!

Am grrrrr arrrg-ing as we speak!!!!

Miss Scarlett!

So as stated before I'm going to wearing cluedo colours for the next few blogs - and this was my attempt at Miss Scarlett hehe - I know it's more black than red though - I have got a few other red things but nothing seemed appropriate as I was working behind the bar at the football .. we had the kiddie matches and charity games and beer festival yesterday - and it was a great day out - plus the sun was shining down on us - what more can you ask for, beer burgers and sunshine with a bit of footie thrown in :D

Happy Anniversary!

Today is mine and Gra's 5th anniversary! And we will be going out for lunch - but currently have a workman here doing some decorating ... so not sure when we'll get to go -hence all the blog activity from me in the last few mins!

The guy arrived early and I was in the shower so he was met by me with wet hair and a bathrobe - nice sight ha ha!

Tonight is our friends housewarming so I am looking forward to that :D Have a good weekend everyone!! xXx

Anyone for cluedo?

So I saw on someone else's blog - and I cannot for the life of me think who now (so apologies if it was yours!!) That someone was planning a challenge of wearing the colours of the cluedo characters each day for a week - now I don't get dressed (well to go out anyway) everyday as I don't work everyday so mine will be more spread out but I thought I'd have a go.....

Fly me to the moon ...

This outfit once on reminded me of an air hostess - because of the scarf, Originally I was going to wear it without, but my horoscope said to wear red, so I thought I'd add it for a pop of colour .. I really liked it when I had it on anyway - as did my other half!! :)

So fly me to the moon became the title!!

Today I had a day off so I spent the day relaxing and the weather was gorgeous so I sat in the garden to to have my lunch and read a magazine!! LOVELY!

Also first blog pics I've been able to take outside - and to show the new garden :D (Not 100% finished yet though!! And are awaiting a shed.)

Tonight we went to pick the wedding breakfast menu (YUM) - was nice to be able to sort another thing out - it's getting so close now :D Can't wait to have some of the food .. am really looking forward to it, hope the weather holds up as it's a lovely location!! :D

So was 1st day back at school today after the Easter break, was v sunny and warm (hence my pics being a bit too bright!!) Couldn't get a great one anywhere I went!!!

Ah well was good to see all of the children, am tired now though!!

Also just waxed my legs for the first time ever!!! In preparation for wearing skirts without tights ha ha!!

Rehash Weekend.

So this is a rehash of outfits I wore in the week - that I was lazy enough to wear again over the weekend!

The first two was because I was in a v silly mood - hence silly pics!

It's all about the green ....

So I don't know why I have been wearing so much green so far on this blog, I've never thought of it as one of my fave colours, I mean I like it, I drive a mint green car ... but I didn't know I owned so many clothes in that colour he he.

Long cool woman in a black dress!

Ok so this was my outfit today to go shopping in - went with my 2 bridesmaids (the other is on holiday :( so she couldn't get) we went to get there dresses and FINALLY we got them - yey :D am so pleased - gone for black dresses in the end with a burgundy wrap - they looked very classic and elegant! (Hope S's fit's her - but I tried it and it fot me so i'm sure it will her!!)

This is the dress that they will be wearing :D So excited to finally have it :) Hope everyone else likes it - I know black isn't traditional bm but I like it!!! And with the burgundy wrap it looks nice! :)

Also picked up my hair clip and my wedding ring from the jewellers - another box ticked YEY :D

Variation on a theme!

Very similar to the other day's outfit just added a bandeau top, different jeans and accessories, this is what I wore to go to the football match - 1st one I've been to in 5 months!!! And they won - I'm such a lucky charm :)

Sienna Sunday.

Easter Sunday was Sienna's Christening - was such a lovely day to catch up and see old friends and to give out the wedding invites .. Sienna was really god and didn't cry at all bless her.

Afterwards we went back for food and drinks .. had lots of yummy champagne cocktails and then last night we went to the pub quiz with Chris and Carol so all in all had a fab day :D

So this is what I wore for work the other day - I call it Mint Choc Chip as it reminds me of ice-cream :)

Had a bit of bad news at the weekend too - my cousin (who I thought of as more of an auntie)
died, she has been poorly a long time - but an inspiration in a way
that she always seemed positive - I wish I could feel more like that -
but I guess you never know how a person is feeling behind closed doors!
