Greenday.

It was supposed to be really hot and sunny today - they got the hot part right - but it's very close and muggy and even a spot or two of rain!

Just been to work today - and wanted to be comfortable in the classroom and yet not too hot at the same time and this is what I finally settled upon!

Not sure what I've got planned for the rest of the day - just relax and chill I think :)

What I wore today:

I've seen this done on many other people's blogs so thought I'd have a go as I'm not really making a big deal of my outfit today!

This is what I am wearing at the moment, Earlier I was wearing a Elle t-shirt and Jeans but I changed as I was playing around with 2morrow's outfit and as it was warm I stayed in this - it's fine for lounging around in - maybe a besides the pool/beach cover up!

I have no-makeup on and whilst that was fine in the first pic, I was pulling a hideous face in the second and so a big black blob appeared!

Wore this outfit on Sunday - Myself and Mum relaxed at the Caravan whilst Gra and My Dad went to play golf, we prepared the veggies for dinner then once they had come back we went for a game of pool and hit the arcades.

After lunch we decided to walk off dinner and headed to the beach - although we did have a crafty ice-cream whilst there ha ha. Was a gorgeous sunny day - perfect end to the mini-break - I didn't want to come home!!

This outfit was inspired by the calender, it was a mix between the Audrey Hepburn Look and Its all about the shoes!
Wore it to go over to the East Coast on Friday afternoon!
Later on I borrowed my mum's cardigan as the sea breeze was a little chilly - I really like it though .. shame it's too big it might of found it's way into my wardrobe instead ha ha.

Just a few little hours ....

I was in a bad mood before work yesterday - no idea why, just woke up as a grump - just of got out of the wrong side of bed I guess .. can you tell I wasn't "feeling" these pics - haha - Heaven help the child that crossed me first thing yesterday - only kidding!



After work however I was much more cheerful and light and we went out for food and drinks for a friends b'day :D

Went to go see the lady who is making our wedding cake today to go through the final details :) Am really liking what we came up with :)
Then called in at the Bridal boutique to book my final dress fitting :D :D :D After that called in at my Grandads as my mum and dad were already up there,so we had a good gossip and a cuppa :D

It's such beautiful weather here today - hope it lasts as Ma and Pa have asked if we want to have a weekend break at the seaside this week - YES!! :D

Purple Rain!

This is what I wore to work yesterday .. It was quite cloudy and overcast when I started out - then it became beautiful and so hot - and I was wearing this long sleeved top - I did have a cardi on originally too - thank goodness I took that off!
You can't see how purple this top is in these pics - it was a funny light and looks a bit blue!

Went to the shops after work - got a lovely new dress, quite 1940's tea dress .. will be perfect for honeymoon :)

Yesterday we had a BBQ in the back yard for Fathers day and both mine and Gra's family's came over - we had really nice time, some yummy food, the wine was flowing and we played a silly board game to top the night off :)

Today I have done the Girls Next Door Workout DVD that Gra bought me for chrimbo - haven't done it before and have gained an all new respect for them, I mean I loved them b4 but love em even more now ha ha!
Then went in my gym for a while!

Kinky Hair

So I haven't posted in a few days as I have had a bad migraine - therefore no clothes posts!

But I was reading this magazine about sexy summer hair the other day .. now some of you may know I have curls which I don't really like, but apparently curls and waves are big this summer - so I read on:

Apparently Gwyneth Paltrow loves this technique to get lovely soft kinks or waves in her hair, so if it's good enough for Gwyneth LOL .. I am currently sat with my hair in four pigtails - looking like Whigfield (90's popstar)

Without the red PVC dress ;P

SO what you have to do is:

1. Wash hair and towel dry.
2. Add a large amount of volume mousse and scrunch.
3. Blast with hair dryer until 90% is dry.
4. Section into 4 and put into plaits.
5. Go over each plait with hair straighteners on a high heat
6. Leave to dry.....

And you should have soft waves - hmm we will see - will let you know if it turns out ala Gwynnie or more of a frizzball!

On a steel horse I ride ....

Had an appointment with a new consultant at the M.E clinic this morning, he is arranging for me to have some physiotherapy sessions once a week for ten weeks, so hopefully that will help too!
The hospital is being refurbished at the mo and a whole new site is being built, which equals chaos in the car park - plus it cost me £2.50 for a half an hours of parking tsk!!

Am going to meet a friend of mine for coffee later which will be nice to catch up as haven't seen him for a while ... wonder if any bargains will come home with me ha ha!

Still sneezing GRR!!!

Was 1950's .. and the perfect chance to wear my black and pink polka dot dress I was talking about the other day - as we went to a christening! :) I didn't feel too well though so we stayed for a couple of drinks and some yummy cake and headed home!

Inspiration was meant to be vintage and new today - and I was going to wear a vintage dress, but it was so nice and sunny out I found myself drawn to this one instead, which can count as yesterdays "Flower power" and it looks vintage 1960's vibe about it? :D
